[Edit] Apparently MySpace and/or Picnik.com finally fixed this little issue. Sux for all you stalkers out there.[/Edit]

THANKS TO CHRIS AKA R0CKY FOR TELLING ME ABOUT THIS!

MySpace is one of the most insecure social network websites on the internet. I’m surprised so many people still use that website. If you are concerned with privacy, MySpace isn’t the place for you, let me tell ya.

One of their biggest problems, in my opinion, is with their *apps*. Take picnik, for example. If you go to picnik.com and use the picnik app with facebook you don’t have this issue. But with MYSPACE, there is an URL you can paste into your browser’s address bar that will allow you to view private pictures of Myspace users.

This type of thing is an internet stalker’s and/or predator’s dream. It’s ridiculous.

Anyway, on with it.

To view private myspace pictures, simply copy this URL:

Replace the asterisks (******) with the user id number of the person’s private myspace pictures you want to view.

NOTE: There are 2 places in that URL that you will need to put their user id number, and I’m not talking about their vanity URL, but the USER ID NUMBER.

Once you’ve replaced both sets of asterisks with the user id of the person you wish to view their private pictures, simply copy the URL and paste it into your address bar.

Voila!

Their private pictures will load in that picnik.com application.

I personally think this is ridiculous and a huge violation of privacy.

I wonder if there’s some sort of lawsuit that can be brought upon MySpace? Hmmm.
