Give Me Five Monday

This is a cute little meme I stumbled across. Each Monday a random topic is posted up and you can participate by giving 5 answers of your choice. This week’s give me five is: Give Me Five foods that you never want to eat.
1. Caviar – Although this is supposedly a delicacy and people actually do eat this crap, I’m not ever touching it. EVER. I think it’s disgusting. I also think that the fact that the fish eggs are actually different colors like pink, black and orange is completely repulsive. I don’t even know why. The thought of putting this garbage in my mouth makes me want to puke.
2. Escargot – This is snails. SNAILS! How in the world could anyone put this crap in their mouth? I mean seriously, I could not fathom this. If you’ve ever seen the slimy sludge left by a snail as it crawls slowly across the ground or floor you’d more than likely feel the same way. And if you don’t well then in my opinion you’re just disgusting. This is simply gross. There’s no way in hell I’m putting that slimy crap in my mouth. Not ever.
3. Pigs feet – Okay.. here’s something I’ll never understand. You take one of the dirtiest, hell perhaps THE dirtiest animal, creature, being and you eat it’s feet. Do people not realize pigs traipse around in their own feces basically all day long everyday? They roll around in it, and not only that but they eat scraps. Pigs eat our garbage and then walk around in the shit from our garbage and human beings eat their feet. I mean does ANYONE besides me see how disgusting this is? I don’t care if pigs feet tastes better than the finest chocolate on earth, I would not touch one much less place it inside my mouth.
4. Oysters – Yet another slimy, disgusting thing that people just figured might feel nice and smooth sliding down their throat. Seriously, what is wrong with people? I mean I think I saw someone eat an oyster once but it didn’t even seem like they chewed. They just let it slide right down… and what’s the point of that anyway? Then again how could anyone stand to actually chew something like that? DISGUSTING. And look at the shell it comes in. Completely foul.
5. Bay leaves – This one is a little less extreme than the others, however I still cannot bring myself to eat bay leaves, or anything else that would make me feel like I’m eating a tree. Seriously, if I wanted to eat leaves I could just simply walk outside and pluck some off the nearest tree. They don’t taste good at all, either. How do I know, you ask? Because out of curiosity one day, I tasted one because I figured they must be delicious otherwise why would anyone put part of a branch of tree in their food.. but it tastes just like it looks. Like a leaf. The only thing it does for your food is make it look kind of pretty, and I don’t know about you but I would prefer it taste good over it looking good anyway. So yeah, no trees please!

I happen to like caviar, but it’s a cultural thing
