You know there are tons of “meeting places” online for people who have common interests to meet up and chat and get to know one another. These places are basically known as social networking sites and alot of them bring people from all over the world together. Well, nowadays there’s a social networking site for everyone and everything. With that being said allow me to introduce you, my readers, to a database of meeting rooms called InTheRooms, which is actually a recovery website that brings together people from all over to talk about their recovery. InTheRooms Meetings consist of the most current Narcotics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and want their members to be able to be able to navigate and manage the most accurate meeting databse possible.
One thing about InTheRooms is that it is anonymous. Some people who are in the process of recovery or who suffer from addictions do not want to see the people that they know from their meetings out in public. With regular meetings, like AA and NA meetings, you might feel uncomfortable if you ran into someone from one of your meetings in public but with InTheRooms, it’s highly unlikely that you will meet up with someone in public and if you did you more than likely wouldn’t recognize them unless you want them to know what you look like.
