I Want My Kidney Back

Imagine donating a kidney to your husband or wife and then 4 years later they have an affair and then file for divorce. How would this make you feel? Well one Long Island Doctor is going through just that. He says his wife cheated on him and then filed for divorce and although he can live with the divorce and the cheating, he can not fathom the idea of his cheating wife living with his kidney. He gave his kidney to his wife 8 years ago and now wants her to pay $1.5 for the organ. He said he gave his kidney, after finding out he was a perfect match, to save her life and help save their marriage. After his wife, Dawnell Batista, got her new lease on life she decided to start doing things she hadn’t been able to do before. When she became injured trying to achieve her black belt in karate, she had to begine physical therapy. She then began an affair with her therapist. What a nice lady. I can’t imagine how that doctor must feel. Stupid, for one.
But anyway, what would you do if you found yourself in this situation? I really don’t think that he has the right to ask for his kidney back, or for money for it because in all honesty how the hell can he want a gift back just because she cheated on him? I guess he should have thought about all the possibilities before he gave away a vital organ. The good news is, not only has he learned from his mistake, but since he only has one kidney he won’t be able to donate a kidney to his next cheating wife.

Hilarious.
I don’t blame the doctor one bit though.
I absolutely love it. I would do the exact same thing! This brings up the debate… should organ negotiations be added to a pre-nup? What do you think?
