Free Hugs

A friend of mine linked me to this youtube video last night and told me to watch the video. I’m already a fan of the song, as it’s one of my favorites lately but the video really touched me. I know, I know “how emo”. Anyway, I know the video is well over 2 years old but I still found it to be amazing. I think that hugs are something that most of us don’t get enough of, and if we showed more love to our fellow man the world might not be such a piece of crap place to exist. People sometimes forget that human contact, and affection can sometimes make a world of difference in someone’s life. I know several people who could probably benefit from having had more hugs in their life.

The first few seconds of the video had me thinking, “How would I write a comment about how seemingly insensitive I am for not being touched by the video?” But as it progresses, I realized that I haven’t lost my sappy side at all. It is touching. Not emo at all.
