Metallica

So the Metallica concert is sold out. I mean, I knew I wasn’t going. I could have chosen to purchase tickets awhile back but with Christmas approaching I decided that my money would be best spent on my kiddo than on some concert tickets. But still, hearing that it has sold out is just Idk.. blah. I’m not surprised though, that the show is sold out. Metallica rocks hard. The thing that I find most interesting about their show selling out though, is probably the fact that the majority of the people who are going to that concert probably don’t like most of their newer music. I honestly believe that their older stuff is what’s selling out these shows, not the newer crap. I will admit, Death Magnetic does sound quite a bit like older Metallica but they’re still not quite what they once were.
Man, just thinking about them brings back some memories of another time in my life when things were totally different for me. It’s weird how certain things can trigger memories that you hadn’t thought about in ages. When I think about Metallica, I have memories of a time when I was younger and life was simpler. I think about my son’s father, and how he got me the Live Shit: Binge and Purge box set for my birthday years ago. I think about how happy he was. Well, I’m going off onto a topic I don’t really want venture into right now.
It’s funny isn’t it? Day to day it seems that nothing really changes, but when you look back at the big picture everything is different.

You should try calling into the Buzz in the morning. They’re giving away one last set of tickets tomorrow, but I’m sure you knew that already.
I love metallica, and it is no surprise they are sold out since so many other people do as well. Too bad you couldn’t get tickets, but they are awfully expensive.
As for living day to day, it really is hard to see the changes that happen right in front of you, but if you look they are there.
