My boyfriend has used ADT security services for well over a year now and he really says he feels much safer with the system installed in his home. Being a single mother with a small child, I would feel much safer if I had a security system of my own installed. I’ve been considering getting ADT for quite some time now. Before I decide though, I want to make sure I choose the best home security system that is right for me and my son. He’s 9 years old, so it would have to be a system that he could easily use. What I really like is the new SAFEPASS feature that ADT has just added. Instead of having to remember codes all you need is a little tag that you wave in front of the ADT security system and it disarms or arms the system. The tag is easy to carry and would be perfect for my son because I could attach it to something he wears around his neck or on a keychain he could carry in his backpack. I also like the “chime” feature. It’s supposed to be excellent if you have kids because it creates a chime sound any time that a door or window is opened. That’s one thing that I always worry about! I also love the CellGuard feature because I do not have a regular phone line, and CellGuard uses a cellular signal instead of a signal through a landline telephone. This would be perfect for us.
