It’s really great that Kmart is offering layaway this year for the holidays. It’s helpful for alot of families that are being affected by the state of our economy right now. I remember when I was pregnant with my son and I needed to get clothe for him, a crib, and some other things and I didn’t actually have all of the money to pay for it. I used layaway at Kmart to get some of the things he would need, and it helped me tremendously. I don’t know what I would have done without it. That’s why I know how grateful lots of people are that they’ll be able to use Kmart Layaway to get christmas gifts for their families and friends. There are some things that I am interested in picking up from Kmart, as a matter of fact. I’m considering picking up some Joe Boxer loungewear for the boyfriend, and sleepwear for the kiddo. I also really like some of the Jaclyn Smith collection, especially the cashmere sweaters.
I have always liked Kmart. Their prices have always been fair, and their employees are always considering. The way the customer is treated is very important to me, and I appreciate that Kmart employees have always been friendly and helpful. I remember one year they had a computer on sale. It was actually one of their “blue light specials” and it was called the BlueLight True Blue PC or something similar to that. I wanted it very badly because it was extremely affordable, but when I had finally saved the money to get it, they were out at my local store. The associate in the electronics department was so helpful. She called around to various Kmart stores in my area to try and locate one for me. She never ended up finding one for me, but I did appreciate the effort. Now, every time I see the Mr. Bluelight character, or hear the words “blue light” I think of that sales associate in the electronics department that was so helpful to me.
