My cable bill was outrageously high! I hadn’t paid it for 2 months and I was pretty shocked at how quickly it can jump to well over $300. I really didn’t think the bill was fair, however because not only is my internet service pretty intermittent as it is but in September and October it was down more than it was up. Chris called them and got some credits to my account for the down time, but they would only credit through September 22 because that’s when they save service was restored. Yes, service was restored however my service was down roughly 85% of the time for the first half of October as well. I just figured it was due to the hurricane and that service would start to work properly eventually. They said they’ll send someone out to check on it and if there is a problem, they would be willing to take more off my bill. Well, there’s obviously a problem! So needless to say, the cable guy is going to be coming to my home next week. Oh Joy.
There’s something else I’ve been noticing about my cable. It usually works fine now unless I try to download something big. Then it simply goes out. I started to notice it when I was downloading the entire series of Sex and The City from my friend Cetta. It would disconnect after downloading just a little bit and stay down for awhile, then suddenly the cable would be back up. It did that again tonight when I was trying to watch Fever Pitch on Hulu.Com. Just.. whatever. If I can’t download, then I don’t realyl see the purpose in having cable anyway. If this keeps up I’ll be switching back to DSL.

Oh man your telling me! I’ve been paying my phone bill for like 3 months now (literally) and the price hasn’t changed at all because they keep adding more. How the heck am I supposed to pay that off?!
That sucks that you’re having all those issues. Hopefully they can fix it and make your bill lower.
