Being the owner of several websites, I know how important reliable hosting can be. I’ve been through several different hosting companies over the years, and I’ve researched hundreds so I can safely say that I know which hosting companies are better than others. For those who don’t know however, there are sites like WebHostingGeeks.Com that have a Top 10 Web Hosting list for 2008. You can look through and decide if any of those that made the list are right for you. So if you are unhappy with your current host and just want something new or you are just getting started and want something that is best suited to your needs and budget, the Web Hosting Geeks website could be very beneficial to you. I have read their webhosting blog on numerous occasions and have learned a great deal of valueable information from them. They offer helpful advice as well as information on various topics related to web hosting and running a website. If you’re confused about the which is the best CMS, or even what a CMS is, they’ve got an excellent article detailing exactly what you can use a CMS for as well as a list of the most popular Content Management Systems out there. They have articles that can help you decide what the best type of hosting to suit your needs would be, as well as advice on what to avoid when starting up your own website. My favorite article is the one about the three things to avoid when it comes to web hosting. They say to avoid Free Service, Limited Options, and Cheap Hosting. I agree with all three of those simply because I’ve been through it. You do get what you pay for when it comes to hosting, just like anything else. So like I said, if you are looking for a new host, or just want some answers to some questions you may have, check out WebHostingGeeks.Com and their web hosting blog.
