Metallica Is Coming!

So Metallica is coming to Houston on November 20. I really really want to go. Although I’m not that fond of their newer stuff, I will always be a fan of old school Metallica. The …and justice for all album will always be one of my favorites of all time. Just because I am saying I want to go, doesn’t mean I’ll get to. But I’m seriously considering it, I’ll just have to work something out to get a sitter and what not, but that won’t be too hard. I’m sure the parents will babysit. 
Anyway, I saw this Direct Tv ad and I’m not sure how to feel about this. I mean, it’s just a commercial, but they used Heather Rourke, the actress from Poltergeist that died many years ago. It’s definitely her, I’m quite sure of it, and I guess it offends me a little for obvious reasons. I think it’s totally done in bad taste and I don’t think they should have gone there. Anyway, here’s the commercial. What’s your take on it?

You have to see Metallica!! I saw them about 12 years ago. It was a bad show tho.
But I hear they’re usually awesome.

I saw that commercial the other day. I wasn’t familiar with the actress, but I can definitely see how that could be viewed as being in poor taste. =/
I used to love that movie Poltergeist from years ago. Is that really her? I don’t know what I make of it TBH.

I hope you do get to go to the concert cause you’ll have a good time. The commercial, well they’ve reused a lot of old movies to make commercials for tv stuff or cell phone stuff, and there’s nothing wrong with it anyway. I mean maybe it’s sad that she’s dead and her early work is used in commercials, but it’s not like just because people die no one can show them on tv anymore. Dunno.
