Back To School Organization

Awhile back, when I was shopping for Eric’s school supplies I picked up a label maker because I was sure that it would help us to get more organized for school. Plus I remember his teacher using one last year on folders and school supplies and what not. Anyway, I was right. Labels do make things easier and more organized. I’ve used it on his toy bins, on his lunch box, to help organize his homework folders, and all sorts of other stuff. I’ve even used them to keep my filing system more organized. I have obsessive-compulsive disorder and one of the things I OCD over is keeping my files in order and having everything easily accessible at all times. That’s why I started using labels on my file folders. I also color code them to make them more organized. With the labels and the colors it’s a lot easier to find a certain file folder I need at any given time. It saves me a ton of headaches to be able to find things quickly and easily when I need it. I usually file stuff daily, like mail or receipts, anything like that. It’s very important to me to keep everything organized so that I have no trouble keeping up with all of my paperwork. I also use the labels on Eric’s markers and video games and anything else that I feel we need to keep track of.
