A Little Update On How Things Are Going

Being in an unfamiliar city can be totally frustrating. I got lost yesterday trying to find the grocery store and after fighting with Chris and becoming totally stressed out I ended up just going to McDonald’s cause Eric was hungry. The little apartment we rented for the week isn’t too bad. The bed isn’t as comfortable as the one in the hotel but that’s ok. I’m so ready to go home, though, and I hope they get everything situated soon and get our city back in order.
It’s getting more stressful, with having to spend all this money, and being away from home. Chris hasn’t been helping much, with fighting with me and just overall making things harder than they should be. I know I don’t help things when he gets the way he does, but I just don’t think I should have to be put through the emotional mess that is our relationship when I’m dealing with all this other crap. Hopefully he won’t continue to make this little ordeal any worse than it already is. And hopefully if he does, I can handle it and not get psycho.
Anyway, money is getting tighter, and to make matters worse the water pump or something went out on my parent’s car yesterday, so they are having to use my vehicle to go to the store and stuff. My step-dad is currently trying to get up under their car so he can try and figure out what exactly the problem is before he goes out and buys a new water pump. If it’s not the water pump he doesn’t want to waste the money on the wrong part. My grandmother is paying for the water pump or whatever is wrong with the vehicle. The whole situation is kind of annoying, because here I am helping them out so that they have a place to stay, and my grandma really hasn’t pitched in at all except to buy herself a carton of cigarettes. She finally helped by food I think, from what my mom said, but it’s the least she can do considering. So it’s good that she’s buying the parts for the car, I mean it’s not my responsibility to make sure everyone and everything is taken care of and grandma doesn’t seem to do much for herself anyway.
In my next post, I’ll show you guys some pictures of the devastation that was Hurricane Ike, so you can get an idea of what this piece of crap hurricane did to my area. It really pwned Galveston and Houston. Right now I’m off to the grocery store.

I hope everything gets easier for you.
How’s Eric handling it? *hug*
You’ve got enough trouble on your hands right now and your boyfriend is really not helping. Seriously, he can be so great to you but why does he get so difficult? I hope things get better for you there. I hope you can come home soon.
I hope everything will go back to normal for you soon, girl. Just hold on a bit longer and I am sure everything will be back the way it is, including Eric
Take care, Angela!
