OCD Coke Addict

I’ve been drinking way too much Coke and Mr Pibb lately. I think that it’s not only a problem with the actual drinking it, but I also have become obsessed with those stupid Coke Reward Points. So obsessed in fact, that at the end of last year I actually had a contest of sorts and offered a year’s worth of cpanel hosting to whoever gave me the most coke reward points. The winner was Dawn. Yay for Dawn.
Anyway, they say that Prozac is supposed to help with OCD, but I honestly don’t think it’s helping me. I’m OCD over the stupidest crap, like the coke reward points and I personally believe it’s a more deep rooted issue than just being obsessed with things or doing those “compulsive” things. It’s a form of control, and I need to feel in control. So what I’m wondering is.. if I somehow gain control of whatever it is that I feel I’m not in control of, will the OCD diminish?

I drink too much coke as well. It’s bad for our health but what can I say, it’s addictive! Hehehe
Happy Labor weekend, Angela!
Yes it is bad, but dammit it’s so good.
Happy Labor Day weekend to you too Sasha. Hope it was fun.
I drink too much soda myself and my hubby keep saying drink more water! lol Did you win anything from the rewards site?
Still collecting the coke reward points, so now nothing has been won yet.
I drink water often, but I love coke and it’s hard to not drink it.
Perhaps. That is a good question, and maybe if you gain control over whatever it is that is really bothering you, other things won’t catch your attention anymore?
I’m no professional, but I think that if you did gain control over what you presently do not have control of, you may subconsciously try to find more things that you can’t/don’t control.
