Gas Prices On The Rise Again.. Thanks Gustav, You Bastard.

Since there’s the possibility that a bad hurricane may be hitting my area sometime on Monday or Tuesday, I thought it was a good idea to fill up the tank just in case. We might have to gtfo and I don’t wanna be one of those people who are stuck at the pump fighting for the last bit of gas like the last time the city evacuated. I’m really hoping this thing passes us by, cause I’m not looking forward to another evacuation. That was such a nightmare. Anyway, back to the gas thing.. I hate how they try to capitalize on stuff like this. “Ohhh.. a natural disaster might be headed their way, let’s jack up the price of fuel!” Just a couple of days ago the price was $3.21/gallon. Yesterday it was $3.25, and today.. $3.35. Ridiculous. I know, there’s probably a million bloggers complaining about gas prices right now.. so guess what? Now there’s a million and one.

Well they raise it because people go and fill up at the same time and they start to run out of fuel, so supply and demand or some shit like that. But really, yes, they capitalize over the fact that we all need to top off. Blegh on them.
