This morning when I drove my kiddo up to the bus stop, I realized I better get some fuel because I was really low. So after his bus drove off, I went up to the local Valero which is super close to my house. Then
mg: I saw the price of gas and almost went into shock. $3.21 per gallon!!! I realize this is still kind of high, but when we’ve been paying upwards of $4.00 a gallon for so long I couldn’t help but get excited. I know, you know your life is sad when you get excited over gas prices. Anyway, I’m hoping they remain like this for awhile.
In other news, that hurricane Gustav has been downgraded to a tropical storm but is supposed to gain strength as it gets closer to us. This is one of my least favorite things about where I live. We’re only about 45 miles inland, so during hurricane season we take a freaking beating.

It’s awesome that the gas prices dropped so much. It’s 3.25 by my house and that sadly makes me very happy.
