The Day That Never Comes

Metallica released the new single from the upcoming album, Death Magnetic. This is their fortieth single to be released I believe, during the band’s life. I must say, I love the music. The riffs kick all ass. The lyrics also are quite awesome. I just can’t get over the actual singing and how it does not rock the way Metallica and James Hetfield once rocked. I was expecting alot more given the hype around this album and how it’s supposed to be more like “old school Metallica” but to me it sounds alot like thee St. Anger crap I’ve grown to despise. Metallica of the ..and just for all days, where for art thou?
Anyway, have a listen for yourself, if you feel like it.
I miss my Metallica

When I first heard it the singing did somewhat dissapoint me, the MUSIC sounds good tho.
My favorite Metallica album will always be master Of Puppets. For some reason Sanitarium has always been my fav Metallica song.
I love Master of Puppets, but my favorite is ..and justice for all. I absolutely love “Harvester of Sorrow” as well as basically every single song on that album<3
Metallica is love. And this song is really good. I’m absolutely in love with their guitaring. Like if I got a cd of just Metallica instrumentals, it would be the best background driving music ever. You’re right about the signing, there’s not the same angry yelling-singing style they used to do that was awesome.
