Home Health Is Blah

I have a nurse coming to my home a few days a week to make sure my incision is healing ok and for medication management and stuff like that. Well, my new doctor decided that the home health agency that I chose was not the one he wanted to refer, because he is on the board of directors for another agency he referred the agency he is on board with. So, today the nurse from the agency I chose came out bright and early since I live by her house, and then about 20 minutes after she left, another agency calls and says that they are coming out today. Number one, my insurance won’t pay for 2 skilled nursing visits on the same day. Number two, I already saw a nurse today, and I don’t need another. It seems like these agencies are desperate for business cause it’s kind of like they were fighting over me. I finally got it cleared up I think, and the original agency is going to have the doctor’s office call me and verify that I’m sticking with them.. I mean I really don’t want another nurse to come out today. I just don’t want to be bothered. I’m so annoyed with the whole situation.

I’m feeling okay Dawn, how have you been??
Yea, i totally understand that. I would be pretty irritated if another nurse came out. I would just tell her someone has already seen me today lol.
crazy
Yeah, when the other nurse called back again I didn’t answer, lol. :X
I hope you get better soon. I also hope your medical bill isn’t too high. I know my insurance is not that great, so hopefully you have much more luck than me.
Thanks Ashley, I have a good insurance plan, but I end up paying a little. A little is better than a lot though, right?
