Forget the fact that the Japanese buy used underwear from vending machines:
And let’s focus on the fact that a Canadian bought used underwear for 9,000 dollars.
Okay, it wasn’t just anyones underwear of course. It was underwear that belonged to Queen Victoria. But really, does that matter?
Look at how plain they look. You can buy a pair that looks just like that in any colonial costume shop. I mean, I understand the whole “oh my god this belonged to royalty!!!” but what would you do with them? Frame them? Imagine a pair of knickers hanging on your wall? What an “interesting” conversation piece. Imagine how that conversation will go.
“Underwear on your wall?”
“Oh yeah, those belonged to Queen Victoria.”
“Really? How much did you pay?”
“Nine thousand.”
“Oh… really…”
“Yeah…”
That’s when the embarrassment the owner should already feel sets in over the fact that they spent a massive amount of money on old, used undies. And they’re probably dirty because they didn’t bathe as much back then, and were constantly getting sick from the germs and a general lack of cleanliness… *Shudder.*
I mean, isn’t there more important things to spend money on!?!?! Queen Victoria probably didn’t even pay much mind to these underwear, most likely, and probably threw out old pairs every few months.

Wow, what some people will do to own something that belonged to someone famous…
$9,000? What is this woman’s net income that allows her to spend that amount of on underwear? That is a down on a car. Ridiculous. Funny article though.
That’s so gross! I heard a lot of people try to buy Jackie kenneddy onassis’s (sp) underwear too. because the rich old bitch had this thing where she would only wear underwear one time then get rid of them and put on an other brand new pair.
