I’m currently working on getting some of my kiddo’s old books up on my other blog so that I can hopefully get some of them sold and buy him some new ones. This has been an on-going project of mine for quite awhile, and although I’ve been anxious to get it done, there always seems to be so much other stuff to get done. But I’m definitely going to have this done by the weekend. The kiddo is running out of reading material.
Speaking of books.. (wait I wasn’t actually speaking, was I?) I just finished reading the 4th installment of those traveling pants books, “Forever In Blue”. It was pretty good. I have another book by the same author Ann Brashares called “The Last Summer (Of You And Me)”, and I’m anxious to get started on that, but I’m also anxious to read “Sybil”. I dunno which to go with first. LOL. Chris bought me several books a couple of weeks ago off of Amazon.Com and eBay, which I’m grateful for, cause I absolutely love to read. I’m going to start swapping my books out for other books so that I’ll have new reading material.

Hi! I’m actually back with a new domain and blog! Anyway, you mentioned another blog? Where else do you blog? I tried to find it but maybe I’m blind. If people are selling books, I need to know!!! I haven’t read The Summer of You and Me but I also want to. I’ve heard it’s really good. Do you read Sarah Dessen or Jodi Picoult? They are amazing!
Hey Lissi! I’d been wondering where you’ve been. My other blog is Coveted.Net. I blog there primarily about my kiddo, and parenthood and stuff like that.
Anyway, the books I’m selling are actually children’s books, which I doubt you’d be interested in.. but I am about to start getting rid of some of my books so I can get some new ones. I haven’t read either of those authors, but I’m going to look into them on your recommendation.
I hope you’re able to sell or trade your kiddo’s books so you can get some new stuff for him. New books are great.
I hope so too.
I have a book store near me that gives store credit for used books you bring in, and then allows you to get other books with that store credit (the store credit is the the price listing of the book) and then $1 extra. Too bad you do not have something like that near you, it is just amazing.
I loved the Traveling Pants series, you are making me want to read them again, lol.
Also, the site is up, I am still just trying to perfect it which always seems like forever to do, lol. Thank you for being so great!
Damn, I would love a place like that around here. That’d be so awesome.
As for the Traveling Pants, I love them too.. I’ll probably end up reading all 4 books again soon.
I visited your site the other day but since you hadn’t actually told me you were ready, I didn’t link it yet. I’ll give you a plug in my next blog, and put your link up tonight after I watch this movie with the bf. It’s looking nice, btw. <3
Good luck on selling your kid’s books. Hope you do that soon and buy your kid new ones. I just posted something about reading and it’s good to read a mom anxious to buy new books for her kid
Have a great week, Angela!
