Insomniac?

I don’t know what’s going on with me lately, but I can’t seem to sleep for more than a couple of hours at a time, even when I feel exhausted. I slept for about 2 hours this morning and now I’m wide awake. I hope this doesn’t keep up. It’s starting to piss me off. I wonder if this has anything to do with me PMS’ing? Hmph.
I’ve also been having pretty bad OCD lately. That, too, is pissing me off. If any of you actually suffer from OCD, you know what I’m talking about. Lately mine has been with organization. It’s starting to get out of hand and I am going to have to find some way to stop because that also might be part of the insomnia.
Chris and I have been doing well, except for a few minor rough spots here n there. We don’t fight nearly as badly or as much as we used to, and even if sometimes we get exasperated with each other we still seem to work it out before we go to sleep. That’s a good thing, though, because I don’t like going to bed mad at him or with him mad at me. I guess the problem is mostly that the hurt is still there.. for both of us. But we are both trying. He’s got alot of problems, and Lord knows I do, so it is kind of tough but we always work it out.
Anyway, I think I’m gonna go put on a pot of coffee and try to read this book Sybil I have tried 3 times to start it and failed each time because the freaking OCD was taking over. Grrrrr!!!!!

Yikes. Insomnia is never good. I hope you get over that soon and can finally sleep a full night. Though in the meantime maybe drink some herbal tea to help with the sleeping? As for OCD I don’t know that it’s something easy to get past, cause it’s a compulsion forcing you do something. But maybe after finally getting some rest will put those nerves at ease.
The insomnia sucks bad, but the ocd is the worst. And OCD is worse when I don’t get enough sleep. It’s pissing me off!!!!1
I think it’s all mostly connected to PMS. As you know, I have OCD myself and a LOT of the times when it goes off the charts (excluding bad spikes) is when I either can’t sleep (or my sleeping schedule goes haywire) or I have PMS. And you know what? That usually happens simultaneously at once.
I don’t know if this will work with you, but I suggest some seriously NyQuil chugging (more than recommended imo), curling up in a nice soft bed with fresh sheets, and hitting the pillow.
I’m not saying it will get rid of OCD or even your insomnia but it may help a little.
At least you will feel rested.

Well, I can’t take a bunch of nyquil cause i don’t want to be too out of it in case there’s an emergency or something. (I got the kid and all..) But I do agree that the OCD, PMS, and insomnia are all related. My ocd lately has been so bad I can’t even concentrate on reading a boook or anything. Grr.
Yeah you’re kid that’s true. Man, I’ll probably be like that if I ever had kids. “NyQuil? What NyQuil?! I have children!”
Then simply wait for the PMS to pass is my only advice. Then you most likely will sleep like a baby.
LOL, brb Cetta I’m going to drink a gallon of Dayquil and see what that does for me. I slept earlier for like 3 hours. Three. This is so frustrating. :confused:
