Breast Cancer Awareness
June 4th, 2008 2 Comments»Wordcount: 189

I was tagged by Sasha to help spread breast cancer awareness during the month of June. It is imperative that we spread the importance of routine breast exams and early detection of breast cancer in an effort to catch the disease when it first appears. Early detection will maximize the chances of recovery and survival.
Breast cancer prevention is something every woman should practice and be aware of. Practicing routine examinations can lead to early detection and removal of cancerous tissue before it spreads further. I have not personally had to deal with it myself thank goodness, and I do not know anyone as of yet who has had to fight that battle, but there are millions of women each year who do.
You can help spread awareness by spreading the word about The Breast Cancer Site. If The Breast Cancer Site receives 8 million clicks in June, their premier sponsor, Bare Necessities will donate $10,000 towards free mammograms. So click on the pink button everyday.

I am now asking Dawn, Sara, Kate, Julie to help spread the word about breast cancer awareness and The Breast Cancer Site.

I thought October was breast cancer awareness month? But it’s certainly an important cause to be aware of.
This isn’t breast cancer awareness month. The Breast Cancer Site is calling June “Survivor Month”. Basically they are trying to help raise awareness for the importance of early detection and prevention. I had planned on commenting on your blog and letting you know I tagged you before you made it over here, but you are quick and I am slow. I got sidetracked. Anyways, I did tag you, but you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to. I was tagged by Sasha and felt like it was something worthy of a post.
