It seems that Experian is less than thrilled with the theft protection services provided by lifelock. If you are unsure what Lifelock is, it’s a company that tries to monitor and protect your identity by placing alerts that prevent criminals from stealing your identity and ruining your credit and sometimes your life. Experian claims that what lifelock does is costing them money. Lifelock places fraud alerts for it’s members as well as opting out of pre-approved junk mail. So not only does your credit and identity get protected, you get less junkmail. Lifelock offers a guarantee of up to one million dollars if they fail to protect your identity from thieves and criminals.
