I’ve been a fan of this show for several years, and recently have become even a bigger fan. I love what these people do. Tonight’s show took place in New Orleans, where they rebuilt a church and a multi-family home for a man and his family, as well as his 2 brothers and a Grandma. They did an amazing job, really. The team put the house up off the ground, in case of more flooding. They also made the house kind of rounded, so if there are tornadoes or more high winds, the home won’t get as damaged as it would otherwise. Ford also donated trucks for 2 of the men because they are volunteer fire fighters, and an Expedition to the church. It’s just so wonderful what these people do, dontcha think?
I was just so touched by tonight’s episode. It’s the last of the season and also the last in a series of episodes where they travel to each of the 50 states helping a family or families in need. I do realize that these people get paid, and probably very well, for what they do. I also know that the stores that donate, do so just as much for the publicity and marketing as anything else. But it’s still wonderful how they help out these families, and make their dreams and wishes come true.
Wouldn’t it be nice if they could do that for everyone? Sure would.

I love this show. My favorite was when the rebuilt a house for a family that had lost their parents at a very young age. I thought that was the best thing ever!
I’m such a baby when it comes to this show, lol. And Sunday was really hard because I’m from New Orleans, I was crying the whole time! lol. They also rebuilt a church months ago right down the street from my grandmas house, so I got to see them in action, it was awesome!
I love this show as well, though I don’t watch T.V. often. I do remember the episodes I have seen and I love watching the homes change and become better than they were before and the people’s reactions to the new improvements on their homes. It really is nice what these people do for families in need.
I rarely watch this show, because it’s too emotional and touching for me. Not that I’m an insensitive person, but I spent too much time crying for these already. But what they do is very good and courageous, very worthy and humble of them.
Yea, it would be great if they could do such nice things for everyone, but even if they do that to a few families it’s quite amazing.
