Ugh… My Internets Again

Well, I called my Internet Servie Provider today, and after being transferred a million times, I spoke to someone who might actually have a brain. she credited my account the entire amount of the bill, and also disconnected service. She also asked if I’d like to be set up with a dry line (that’s what they call it, I guess) so that I can have the internet service and not have to have the phone service. She said she would put a note on my account that if it doesn’t work, to refund all charges incurred. I doubt very seriously that it will work, or be any improvement over my existing situation, but it’s worth a try. The fastest DSL speed is $35 a month, and it’s just for internet only, nothing else. We’ll see what happens. If it doesn’t work, oh well.. no big loss since I’m not going to have to pay. I’m a little less frustrated right now, but at the same time I’m still kinda pissed at the whole situation. It’s ok though ( I guess), I’ll just have to use a wifi connection (when I can get one) for the time being. I won’t be able to be online very much, but hopefully I’ll be able to manage until everything is sorted out.
I am currently typing this post in notepad because I am not connected to the internet, and I’ll save it until later when I am able to actually get online and paste it into wordpress. Man I love the clipboard feature. It’s a lifesaver sometimes. :confused:

Aww, I’m so sorry about that! I know how it feels though and it can be so frustrating. My parents have to call the companies about things sometimes, and they can get so frustrated with being transferred and put on hold over and over again. I hope you get everything sorted out soon though! I’m guessing that since the blog post is up, your Internet is working again? Good luck!
No, the internet is not completely up. It’s intermittent. Sometimes it works, but most times it does not. Thank goodness for WiFi.

you know getting your internet work is sure is frustrating. i don’t know how it goes there, but here, first installement is easy; getting to work eithout any problem is actually hard. i hope that you’ll get a positive result

Changes of any kind, especially technology-related, can be very frustrating. [*gasp* frustrated by technology-related changes, and I'm only 21... I'm getting old =P]
