I’m thinking of taking a few days “off” and going up to Lake Conroe for a little mini vacation. I could simply go to Galveston but the lake is really pretty, plus I have a friend who lives up there and it’d be nice to visit with her. I was looking at prices for rooms along the lakefront and I think I’d like to rent a condo hotel instead of just a regular room. The prices are fair, roughly 100.00 a night, and the units are beautifully furnished. They also have a washer and dryer in the unit, a fully equipped kitchen, and high speed internet, not to mention maid service. You don’t get that at a regular hotel. It’s right on the lake, too with a waterfront view. How relaxing.
