Help For Depression

Most people who read my blog know that I suffer from manic depression, better known as bipolar disorder, and have for many, many years. What most don’t know about me is that I’ve been hospitalized in the past for treatment of this problem. For a long time I felt guilty and ashamed, and wouldn’t even consider getting any type of help. I began to feel alone, lost, worthless and sometimes even suicidal. Many people experience sadness at some points in their lives, but those who experience chronic depression require treatment. If you suffer from manic depression or chronic depression, you are not alone. There is hope, and there is help out there. Sometimes I know it feels like you are fighting a losing battle, but please don’t give up. It might be hard for you to seek Depression Treatment, but please realize that your depression is not only affecting you, but it is affecting the people around you who love you. The people who love and care for you don’t want to see you suffering anymore. The best thing you can do is seek out the help you need and get on your way to a new and improved way of life. I know, I’ve been there. I’ve seen the affect that my depression had on my family, friends, and my son. Sometimes it was hard to even get out of bed. I felt like a disappointment, and a bad mother. I’ve worked through it though, by getting the help I needed. You can, too.
