Man I’m Tired

Well, this morning my parents went with me to pick up the explorer. I couldn’t go alone because I couldn’t drive 2 cars back. (My old one and the one I was buying.) So anyways, the people who were selling it went with me to the title transfer place, and after waiting in line for like an hour we get up to the damn window and the old broad said something about my insurance card not having an expiration date, so they couldn’t complete the transfer. Wtf. They wouldn’t let me really call the insurance company, so I basically had to come home and get it taken care of. Luckily the lady had given me all the paperwork so that I could get the title transfered on my own and then come back and pick up the vehicle. After getting the insurance situation taken care of we went back to the title place.. waited another hour and then finally got it done! We drove over to pick up the Explorer and that was that. There are a few issues with the vehicle, but it’s to be expected from a used car. I didn’t expect perfection, and having paid under 3k, we couldn’t complain. It will need new tires very soon, and the motor or something in the driver’s side door needs looking at or replaced because the window won’t roll down nor will the doors lock or unlock with the power button. Other than that, though, it’s in great shape for being a 1997 vehicle. It has a sunroof, a bad ass audio system, and runs like a champ. I’m listing my old clunker on Craigslist tonight. I’ve got my boyfriend to thank for helping me get this vehicle. Without him I’d probably be screwed. :hearts:

YAY for finally getting the Explorer after all that trouble. Why is nothing ever easy?
