Bizbuilder.Com Sucks.

In July of 2007 my boyfriend ordered me a swivel sweeper from bizbuilder.com. The website said the item would ship immediately (within 24 hours). I was pretty excited cause I’d been wanting a swivel sweeper for awhile, as I’d seen the infomercials and thought they were pretty cool. Anyways, a couple of weeks pass and we had not received the item, so I went to attempt to track the item and was given some stupid message about the item not being shipped yet, but would arrive within 15 days if it was shipped from California and within 60 days if it was shipped from China. China?! They said nothing about China when we were placing the order. We contacted the company (bizbuilder) and were informed it was impossible to cancel the order at that time and the only thing we could do was wait. So we waited. And waited. About a week before Halloween, (yes, the end of October). A beat up package finally arrives via UPS from China, and by that time I had totally forgotten about the swivel sweeper. I opened the box to find a swivel sweeper knock off. They made me wait damn near 4 months for a freaking KNOCK OFF that ended up costing more than the original swivel sweeper costs at Target. Seriously. It was cheaply made and didn’t work worth a damn. I contacted the company about the situation and was basically informed that I could send it back at my expense and would receive a credit for a future purchase. Are you freakin kidding me? So, instead of paying for shipment back to China, my boyfriend decided to dispute the charge with his credit card company and won. This obviously pissed off the guy who runs bizbuilder, because he sent it to a collection agency, and now Chris got a collection notice for it. I went to bizbuilder.com and now they have a notice up about how they no longer sell the swivel sweeper, but some off the wall swivel sweeper wanna be, and if you are waiting for your order and do not want the cheap knock off, you can get a bizbuilder store credit. This place is a joke.
Moral of this story: Don’t shop at bizbuilder.com.

Wow, how awful! So was able to dispute the purchase but since he got a collection notice, does that mean he still has to pay? What a terrible company to sell knock offs like that!
Yeah, they are trying to get him to pay. We are disputing the claim though. I wouldn’t ever recommend buying anything from that company.
Oh, wow, that’s horrible. ‘Tis why I don’t trust online shopping, even if some of them are trustworthy.
The things people will do for money.
I love online shopping, but sometimes you do run into some dishonest people.
