My Top 3
Brooke White - Let It Be
By far my favorite this season. I’ve loved her since her audition. She’s got a great smile, and seems like a sincere person. Her voice is a force to be reckoned with. This was the BEST performance of the night. She’s absolutely amazing.
Carly Smithson - Come Together
This girl has a beautiful voice. She sang her own version of this song and it was hot and sexy. I loved it!!!! She is absolutely one of my favorites in this competition.
David Cook - Eleanor Rigby
This guy has also been one of my favorites throughout the competition. He has an amazing voice, and his song choices are almost always perfect for him. I don’t think last night was his best night, but it was still a great performance.
My Bottom 3
Kristy Lee Cook - 8 Days A Week
She put her own little spin on this song, making it country. To be honest, I thought it was horrible. It was too fast and confused the hell out of me.
David Hernandez - I Saw Her Standing There
Basically this was a boring, unoriginal performance. He didn’t put anything unique into it and I didn’t really enjoy it at all. I think this guy has a great voice, but it’s masked by the really bad song choices. (Like this one.)
David Archuleta - We Can Work It Out
I didn’t like this at all. The song was pitchy and horribly done. He also forgot some of the lyrics, and at this stage in the competition that’s just something you don’t do.
Overall, my favorite performer has been Brooke White for the duration of the show this season thus far. My prediction for tonight is that one of the bottom three I have chosen goes home. The one I am thinking might actually end up going is Kristy Lee Cook. David Archuleta did forget the lyrics to the song he was singing, but I think because he’s young and semi cute.. he’ll be around a bit longer. David Hernandez is a great singer, I just think he makes bad song choices. I doubt he’s going home just yet.

It is beyond me why Kristy Lee Cook is still in the running. Is it because she’s marketable? She has been nothing but horrible in her performances.
I definitely like Brooke. Although I have not watched it much this season, I’ve seen/heard her sing and she’s pretty impressive. I heard her sing “Let It Be” and I thought it was pretty touching. Hopefully she’ll be the next Idol.
