Stupid lightning!

I had been meaning to buy another surge protector, but I had forgotten. And just my luck, the other night there was a really bad thunderstorm, and the lightning was awful. Apparently it was so awful that my son’s computer is ruined. The motherboard is fried in it. I’m not thrilled. I had just given him my old monitor and we went to hook it up, and the pc would not even come on. So, I took the power supply I had from an old computer and hooked it up. The computer came on, but wouldn’t do anything else at all. chris is gonna probably end up giving me one of his old computers to fix up for Eric. It’s either that or I let him use my laptop ALL the time instead of just some of the time. It’s always something.
On another note, I ordered 5 new books off amazon.com last night. I’m kinda excited because I had been wanting some new reading material. I go through books like woah, since I read like crazy! I’m also waiting for the graphics books I ordered to come in, but they haven’t even shipped yet. I am so impatient. ![]()
