I’m just doing the obligatory pre-Valentine’s day blog. I’m not really looking forward to it that much this year. With the way things are between Chris and I, I’m just not really in the Valentine mood I guess. It’s fine, though.. I’m gonna get Eric a little something and be done with it. I don’t expect Chris to get me anything. He’s never been big on holidays or surprises anyways. I think in all of 5 years he’s gotten me a bear and I think that’s basically it. lol. I mean the bear was sweet and he buys me stuff throughout the year, so I’m not complaining.. I guess it’d just be nice to get a surprise like some roses or something. The last time I got roses from a boyfriend was on mother’s day of like 2001. Anyways, I’m not planning on doing anything special this Valentine’s Day for Chris either. Things have just been so strained, and my usual “Valentine” mood is basically nonexistent this year. So, I guess it’s just gonna be me and Eric. Maybe we can bake some Valentine’s cookies or something. That might be fun.

I’m not a huge Valentine’s Day fan, so I don’t think I’ll be doing anything big this year either.

I’m just getting the kids some candy and we’ll probably make Valentine cookies. The hubby isn’t big on romantic gestures, so I’ll be lucky if I get a card.

Here in my country, Valentine’s Day is a big deal. People really go out of their way to celebrate it. But I normally spend it like any other day. No boyfriend as of the moment hehe…
