Ugh, this weather!

I am so sick of this weather. When I was leaving this morning to take my son to he bus all I could think of was how freaking cold it was. And how I am sick of it being so rainy. It seems for the past week or more, it’s been freezing and wet. And I hate it.
I also hate that I can’t turn on my heater in my apartment. Everytime I do it lets off this smell, and then the smoke alarms all go off in unison and it’s an ugly, hideous sound that the neighbors can hear. They think someone’s apartment is on fire. LOL. Last week my upstairs neighbor actually came and knocked on the door to see if everything was ok. That was nice of her, I guess.. but still.
I like the winter months and all, I do like it when it’s a bit cold. I live in Texas, though, where it’s usually really really hot. So I kinda look forward to when it cools off, but not like this.

I never knew it could get cold in Texas. It’s really cold where I live. There’s supposed to be a lot of snow by tomorrow. It’s snowing outside right now. Well, I hope you get the heater fixed, cause it sucks not having one that works well.

Sue, yea it actually does get cold in Texas. But probably not nearly as cold as in some places. It’s like 40 degrees right now and it’s wet and rainy. I loathe it.

Anyway, at least it’s not like it was in Amarillo for the past 3 days.. brrr and it even snowed!
We don’t live that far apart. About 45 minutes or an hour.. and here it was still wet and cold. Where my mom lives which is about an hour south of here, it was nice out she said. Hmph.
