My son did his friend’s homework for him.

Apparently my son decided to do his friend’s homework. Today (while I was trying to take a much needed nap) the neighbor came over to tell me that the other day my child did her son’s homework for him. She said that she knew because of the handwriting. My son is left-handed, and his writing is a tad bit sloppy. Basically the reason that my son did his homework is because he wanted to be able to play video games at his house as soon as they got home from school.. and my kid usually does his homework in class during their independent time. The boy and my child are in the same class and I suppose they came up with this idea that would keep them from having to wait until the kid got his homework done after school. Anyway, the little boy got grounded for a month! I haven’t decided what my son’s punishment will be yet, but I have all weekend to think about it. He’s at my mom’s this weekend since he has a 3 day weekend.

Wow, what a clever little prank, but so bad too. Although I’ve gotta say I did my friends’ hw when I was in school and little and smarter than them. Someone paid me to do their hw once. I know, I’m terrible. But at least they were creative. Perhaps you can find a way to convince them to study together, and have your son tutor him, no do the hw for him.
