The Twelfth Day Of Christmas?

Apparently today is the 12th Day of Christmas, also known as “Little Christmas”. This is news to me, really. But either way, Happy Little Christmas!! I finally started taking my tree down today. Or rather, I started to “un”decorate it. LOL. I got as far as getting all the ornaments boxed up and then decided I’d finish it tomorrow. Yay for laziness. Although, it’s not even me feeling lazy.. I just feel extremely exhausted.
School started back up on Thursday.. thankfully. I was about to go crazy with my son being home all day. It’s amazing how quickly a child can make a huge fat mess.. and not so amazing that it takes 10 times longer to clean something than it does to mess it up. It’s quite frustrating, especially for someone with OCD. Grr.
Anyways, I’ve got 2 new books to read. I got one from Chris. It’s Stephen King’s “The Mist”. I also got 1 for Christmas by Ann Rule. It’s called “Too Late To Say Goodbye”. It’s the true story of Bart and Jennifer Corbin. I’ve only read a few pages of it, but it seems really interesting. I want to finish it, it’s just every time I settle down to read it I end up starting to fall asleep, lol. I haven’t started on The Mist yet, but I plan on getting started soon. It looks like a good book.
Last night we watched this movie called “Mr Brooks”. I’d heard alot of mixed opinions about this movie, but I must say that in my opinion, it’s pretty damn amazing. Being inside the head of a serial killer.. just wow. The worst part is, it could really happen. There probably are freaks who drive around scoping out people deciding who they’d like to make their next “victim”. There are so many freaking crazies in this world. Heh.
Changing the subject… I’m rather excited about Friday. I’m getting a new washer and dryer. Thanks to Chris.
I have a washing machine right now, but it’s a piece of crap and I really am in need of a new one. They are so pretty, too. I know.. it’s sad. I’m excited about appliances. I guess that’s when you really know you’re getting old! Oh well!
Hope everyone’s new year is starting off well.

Lmao, I haven’t taken my tree down, and it just dawned on me how late into January it already is!

I’ve never heard of little christmas, that’s quite cute. Yay for some great books to read, hope you enjoy them, and even double yeay for the new washer and dryer. Sweet gifts!
whenever i see those serial killer movies it makes me wonder. Do you ever think there is some messed up weirdo who will watch those movies and become a serial killer? i dunno, i guess that’s why those movies really freak me out.
