^^Leave me presents!! I had to create a new Tree because the old one got effed up and for some reason I wasn’t able to delete the rude crap that someone put up there.
Wow. It’s been 2 weeks already. I usually try to do the blog thing at least once a week, but I’ve been super busy getting ready for Christmas. Man, I’m tired. I was going to go shopping this morning, and get a price adjustment on an item I bought for Eric that’s on sale now.. but I opted to stay in bed and enjoy the quiet. (The kid’s at the grandparent’s house for a few days) I guess I’ll be up with the birds tomorrow getting last minute shopping done. Yay for me.So my new sofa finally arrived. It was my Christmas present from the boyfriend. I was not thrilled when it came, though because they only sent ONE PERSON to deliver a giant sofa. I mean, it even said on the paperwork that 2 men were required for this job. Yet, they send one little old scrawny dude. He struggled hardcore, but finally managed to get it in the door. Then.. he just LEFT it in the doorway and said that is as far as he was required to bring it. I was like WTF? I couldn’t even close the door. It was a real bitch trying to get this giant sofa into the living room.. while I still had my old sofa in there. My apt is kinda small.. and needless to say I was almost in tears. It was a horrid experience. I couldn’t figure out how I was going to get the old sofa out without having to pay someone to take it out.. but I couldn’t stand it being in my living room anymore. So Tracy suggested I list it on craigslist for free. Best idea ever! Someone picked it up within a few hours and I had my living room back again. 
As far as the delivery issue with the sofa, the boyfriend called up JCP and bitched them out, and they ended up taking the cost of delivery and shipping off (184.00) and giving us an additional 129.00 off for our inconvenience. So I guess that worked out too. 
I’m so sorry I haven’t been commenting you guys, I’m going to go through my links and find out what everyone’s been up to, and I’m going to return comments today (as well as despair people). Now that I have a little time to myself I should be able to get all caught up. I made some brushes this morning, too. They’re nothing fancy, just some Christmas brushes and I also made some cheesy little Christmas buttons for whatever reason. I felt like doing it I guess.
To the hostees: I am aware that everyone has lives, and I feel as a host I am quite lenient, but I’m starting to get a tad bit pissed off. There are very few rules and guidelines I have set forth regarding your responsibilities as a hostee. I am not picky, but there are some things that I am not going to keep on overlooking. Namely, if you don’t update your site more than once every 2-3 months, consider this your notification that after Christmas your subdomain and your files will be removed from my server. I have attempted to email everyone, but I don’t get a response.. so I am concluding that perhaps you don’t use/check the email that you gave to me as a means of communication. This is unacceptable. I need valid email addresses from everyone. ASAP. I’m not trying to come off as a bitch, but obviously nice doesn’t always work.
Anyways, here’s the brushes I made. Have a lovely weekend. If I don’t get a chance to blog here again before Christmas, I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday.

I understand your concerns with hostees. I have deleted some of my hostees after them not updating or replying to my emails. How rude is that for them not to talk to you. They should be grateful to have you host them.

Gah though the delivery people suck. They are just so damn lazy. Craigslist is the best thing ever by the way, love it.
Eeek, dontcha hate these obnoxious delivery boys. They’re all like “I’m only paid to bring it this far” yadayadayada, and you’re left with a whole crap on your doorstep. Happened to me plenty of times.

Wow, such a crappy delivery! And poor guy having to carry the sofa all by himself! Nice that you got money back though. Maybe it was worth it for getting those extra money back?
