It’s getting there…

July seems to be flying by. I think somehow I missed part of it? I have been really busy lately, and I guess I just didn’t realize how quickly the month is passing. School starts up again in a month. I can’t believe my son is going to be a 2nd grader! I haven’t even gotten his school clothes yet, or his school supplies. I guess I should start getting that stuff together. I was gonna pick him up a school supply pack from the grocery store the other day, but honestly they wanted 40 bucks for it, and the crap in there was generic. Seriously, do they have to be so freaking cheap about it? I can buy the shit seperately for like 20.00 if I’m buying all that generic crap. At least put some freaking crayola crayons in the pack for crying out loud.
Anyways, my mom’s birthday is tomorrow and instead of getting her a gift this year I opted for one of those MasterCard gift card thingies. She wanted some new clothes to wear on vacation. (They are going to Florida in 2 weeks.) I just didn’t think she’d wear anything that I picked out anyways, so I just figured she could buy herself whatever. She loved it. Go me!
My bf’s birthday is this month also.. and I seriously need to get my head out of my ass and decide what to get him. I have a few things in mind, but it’s really hard to buy for him cause he has almost everything he wants/needs already. I can’t really give away any clues cause he reads this thing all the time and I don’t want to ruin it. The good thing about him is he will like whatever I get him. He’s funny like that.
My ex’s birthday is also this month. Ordinarily I wouldn’t give any thought to an ex boyfriend’s birthday.. but this one in particular is my son’s father. He just died in October of last year. It’s a shame that certain things happen the way that they do, and even though he wasn’t my favorite person in the world, it’s still kind of hard to accept. Heh.
Well, I have been promising a friend that I would work on his website for weeks now, and he has been patiently waiting for me to do so. I think I’ll get that done, as well as some lovely online shopping. (who doesn’t love online shopping?!) and then go drop off these stupid red box movies (probably pick up another one) and perhaps pick up some Chinese food. Yumz.

July flew by quick! It’s insane. Happy birthday to your mom.
Ya, thanks. Her birthday is actually today.
Happy Birthday to your mother. Those credit card gift card are the best thing ever. I sometimes neer know hat to buy anyone.
I am sure a 2nd grader really doesn’t need $40 worth of school supplies either.
Thank you.
Yea, it’s weird I don’t remember needing that much junk when I went to elementary school. Whatever. lol
Those gift cards always do the trick. Sometimes it’s so hard trying to find the perfect gift, as you already know
Your son must be excited
Best wishes to you and your son…good luck with everything
July did go by extremely fast i just realized it’s just about over and i swear it just begun. Stores always do that they try to make it like it’s a great deal when in fact it isn’t!
Happy Birthday to your mom!! A gift card is always a good idea when you aren’t sure what to get it or if they will like what you get. I’m glad she liked it
You just made me sooo hungry for Chinese food.
$40 is too damn much for a bag. You better go to walmart girl lol and get all the school supplies from there. Chinese food sounds so good right now = ]
Hey Angela..wow,I haven’t experienced of celebrating multiple birthdays before. But surely,my problem would be buying presents..I’m kinda a hopeless when it comes to that
I´m actually glad time flies by so quickly. Hope you´ll find a nice gift. I´m sorry to hear about your ex´s death, though.
