Yeah, well I like Eddie Murphy.. his movies are always awesome, so yeah I’d definitely recommend seeing it.

And I think my boyfriend is more concerned with his own happiness than my own.

I know how it feels when it comes to being bored. I HATE being bored, i HAVE to be always on the go with just something to do with my studies and everything. Such as, during the winter months where school (for me) and there’s nothing better to do, I’d audition for drama or take up anything to keep it moving. In the summer, i need two days of soccer, one day of piano and one day of math tutoring to help me keep going. It’s fun

Is there any particular reason your boyfriend doesn’t want you to get a job? I can’t understand why he wouldn’t want you to get a job. Personally, when I hear something like that it makes me think that the guy is being a bit too controlling, and that’s never a good thing.

You know, I’m really not sure what it is. He tries to be controlling, but I’m not the type of person to allow someone to control me. So I guess we’ll see what happens.

I’m not a child… lol. As people get older their goals in life do change. I do not NEED to work, I simply WANT to. I don’t sit around my house “with no goals whatsoever”. I have already realized alot of my goals and have set forth new ones in my life that I plan to also accomplish. When you have kids though, sometimes the things you want and the things you need are no longer even close to the same thing. I am bored, and I admit that… but I did take a bit of offense to your insinuating I’m a lazy fat bum who sits around her home all day with no aspirations.

I enjoyed the original TCM and absolutely rebelled against the new one. My only complaint with the original is that it is too damn short. They could have done a lot more, which I suppose was the mentality with the new one, but they didn’t do too much more in that one and it was also extremely short, to me, anyway. Odd.

Thank you. I saw the edit on your blog. Venting is normal.. and sometimes when people get upset or emotional or just plain MAD, they say and do things they don’t mean. Hope it all works out though, I mean you have invested over a year of your life into that relationship. That’s quite awhile, and worth fighting for in my opinion.

I agree with you completely. The original TCM was the very best. My biggest complaint with it was also the length. They could have done so much more with it. I think they played it out though.. with the newer ones.

i saw texas chainsaw massacre- the beginning. i liked it. it was very gory. i was sooo sad when the guy with the green eyes died. he was so sexy. and then that monster stole his beautiful face and STILL looked an utter mess. shame. lol

Yeah, I don’t know if oppression is the right word, but it’s close. It’s more some kind of insecurity on his part. I guess I can understand though… or at least I TRY to understand. SIGH.

He’s against me working because he is insecure. I don’t honestly know what he’s worried about.. I’m not an unfaithful person. I think it’s because of his indiscretions in the past, though. I guess he feels since most men can’t control themselves, then women can’t either? I just try my best to understand.

Yeah, the movie is rather gory. I didn’t have nightmares but I almost vomited.. actually started to gag at some parts in that movie. So nasty They say the TCM is a semi true story based on actual events.. but in all honesty I think it’s just a myth . ;p

Why would your boyfriend be against you getting a job!? that’s crazy honestly if i didn’t have a job, I’d be at home, bored, frustrated, and extremely irritable you should try joining some kind of class, maybe a sports thing- being active improves your mood a lot
