it’s just… life.

My friend Kelly is still in ICU, and they say by next week they will be moving her to pediatric ICU. It makes me so sad. My family is helping raise money for her mom because she hasn’t been to work or anything since she’s staying with Kelly at the hospital most all the time now. They put like donation cups in local convenience stores around the city I live in and the city they live in and have been bringing her money every couple of days. Some friends of my parents help with collecting the money too since it’s kind of time consuming. It’s a nice gesture. Kelly isn’t insured either, so the money.. even if it’s just a little, will help hopefully.
Tomorrow is my son’s last day of 1st grade. I still have yet to get used to the idea that he is even old enough to go to school, let alone be heading to the 2nd grade. He’s my little baby. I love him so much, and I’m so proud of him for all that he has accomplished. He’s in the gifted and talented program, and he got an award for excellent behavior this year. He’s also reading on 4th grade level right now, which is awesome. When I was in 3rd grade, I was reading at college level. I’m thinking he took after me in that department, and math too. He was doing 3rd grade math in the middle of last year (kindergarten). Ok, enough bragging. I just can’t help it though.
If anyone knows of a specific plugin for wordpress that will allow me to not only quote and/or respond to comments (kind of like a forum) and also email the person to let them know that I have replied.. I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried that Brian’s comment thing, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. I’ve also tried an email responder but can’t ever get it to work properly either.
Thank you to all the people who left such nice comments on the previous post. They are very much appreciated.

I hope that you get as much money as needed. Hope that she would be better really, really soon.
Your son is so smart! I feel proud just by reading your entry!
I’m sorry about your friend Kelly, and I think it’s a very good thing that everyone is doing what they can to help out with the financial issues.
I recently experienced a familiar problem when one of my friend’s little brother found out he had cancer, we did everything we could to raise money for his family.

I have the quoting comments WP plugin, I can either send you it or try to dig out the URL? I have also seen the emailing them plugin as well, they may just be in the WP plugins directory. x

Good luck on finding a plugging. Take care x
I’m lucky to live in Canada where health care is free.. I dont have to worry about stuff like that..
you can combine the quote plugin with subscribe to comments and auto subscribe people - but they wont like that or you could do add the dodo’s threaded comments plugin.
:S no insurance - I dont know what I’d do if I had to pay for healthcare, I’d be in major debt by now!
That’s really sweet that people are helping out Kelly’s family like that. I hope she recovers soon. How sad
Your son sounds like a real sweetie. It’s awesome that he has so much potential and is taking after his intelligent momma. Yay for rubbing off hehe. I haven’t gotten that type of plugin to work either. I tried this one: http://www.u-g-h.com/?page_id=320 give it a try maybe it will work for you.
I’m just testing this.. I installed Brian’s Threaded Comments thingy. Let’s see how it looks lol.
Thank you lol. That’s really appreciated.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend having cancer. That’s a terrible thing to have to go through.
I am sorry to hear that your friend is not well. It’s really nice of your town to put out donation cups and try to support her as best they can. You don’t get that in a big city like New York. (Which is where I live.)
Try this plugin:
Thank you
